One more crucial update. Shadd Jamison finished 2nd at the State Open in the shot put with a throw of 50'1.5", a throw over a foot longer than the week before and easily the indoor school record. Congrats, Shadd, you've earned it.
OK, one update that really deserves it. I couldn't help but notice that Shadd Jamison won SWCs in shot put, and then finished 2nd at Class M, ensuring a trip to the Opens. He's also the new team record holder in the event. Fantastic job to him and everyone else who medaled at SWCs and competed at states. I miss you guys.
The time for all good things must eventually come to an end, and so has updating this site for the time being. With Coach Sirowich departed, that is my last true link to SHS track (although I know many of you currently on the team from helping out the past few years).
Also, this summer I will be in Minneapolis with a summer internship, and then who knows where with my post-college life. So I won't be around to cover any meets, sadly.
Everything that is already on the site will stay. The last picture updates from outdoor 2004 are now up. And someday, perhaps something or someone will intervene to continue this.
It's been an incredibly fun and proud time both as a student-athlete and beyond to be part of SHS track and this site. I won't forget it, and maybe someday I can be part of this family in person again.
For contact about this site, especially its domain:
Fred Wills ('02), in his first season running cross country for at Southern New Hampshire University, ran a strong season, consistently on the team's top 3, with his best performance at the conference championships. Wills was seen all around Stratford this summer running, as well as jumping in the MADD Dash 5K and Westport 10 miler.
Joe Tanucci (01) qualified for the IC4A regional meet with his 2nd place javelin throw (199'8") at the New England championships. The personal best throw entered Tanucci at the IC4A meet for the first time.
