The 1998-1999 team was coached by Mr. Mike Sirowich with Mr. Gary Smith. The team was a very small team, which limited its ability to do well in the championship meets, but did boast the first four-year members in team history. Megan Kelley, Kim Dolan, and Becky Knapp, all original members of the indoor team, were on the team for the fourth time as leaders for the girls team. Up and comers however, included Nikki Ferris, Jillian Curley, Lissette Cruz, Sarah Beachemin and others.
For the boys' team, they were lead by seniors such as Jason Staples, Dave Krochko, Bobby Cervone, Ade-Taju Deen, and Mike Truncone. The Classes of 2001 and 2002 boasted a strong rookie group of middle distance runners in James daSilva, Mark Kyer, Greg Gorlo and Chris Quiriconi.
At the SWCs the girls scored points in the high jump (Beachemin, 6th), shot put (Michelle Stewart, 4th), and the 4x800 relay (5th).
For the boys, they were lead by Eric Loux, who was 2nd in shot put (39'10"). Points were also scored in the 4x800 (5th, team record 10:05.97), high jump (5th, Joe Tanucci), long jump (5th, Cervone), and the 4x400 and 4x240 relays (both 5th).
